Design based Bachelors Institutes after 12th - BDes, BArch, BPlan, BSc, BFA, BVA, BA


Hello all,

We know that only few institutes accept UCEED score and in fact seat availability  in three major IIT institutes are very low. So, candidates with AIR above 70 have to look for other options. To be frank, UCEED and NID DAT are not the only exams allowing for admissions, there are several other options, art courses, design institutes etc that allow candidates with or without the above said exam scores. Some have their own exams. 

Note that students aspiring to take design courses can take JEE (You can get materials and syllabus for JEE here) and NATA (materials will be uploaded soon) exams too.

      Well, I should have mentioned properly. Actually, B.Arch is available in some NITs unfortunately not bdes. But I think NIT Durgapur has bdes option. Please google their page.

      I think most private institutes offering bdes may accept UCEED score. You can check individual websites for their admission requirement. Note that some institutes conduct their own exam.

    Hi Bhanu,
    I was looking for such stuff for my son, who is currently taking his Xth board exam & is keen to appear in UCEED 2020. I find this blog of yours truly useful in every sense and thus would like to thank you for this wonderful endeavor of yours. Really, this is mind blowing. I don't think anyone would have to join any coaching institute for preparation, once he/she utilizes your resources to the optimum.
