  1. I forgot to mention that you may face problem while doing online payment; like you may not be able to enter the captcha part (verification code). In that case the best option is to Re-start your registration process from the beginning with different Email ID.

It happened to me and I was forced to try with three mail ID. I even created a new mail ID (specially for this) like bhanu.mdes@gmail.com, It worked for me.

Keep all the documents ready, then only proceed for registration. Hope it helped

    1. Hi Sourabh,
I doubt you can't. I'm sorry to say this because only few institutes consider GATE score and if you are serious in doing M.Des from IIT's, you definitely need to have good GATE score. Remember that first preference will be given to CEED aspirants.
But nothing to worry you can still apply for ceed right now and crack the same. You can even write GATE 2014, because institution notifications for joining to M.Des is likely to be opened in March.

    3. As per my knowledge, for PART-A exam, last year a cut-off of 25 marks was considered. This year I hope, the same will be followed.
However your actual CEED score is only PART-B and PART-A score is just for screening. I exactly can't say the score pattern. Any way I just suggest you to first look for going through your exam, then care about marks. Keep practicing my friend. All the best

  3. Hi Sourabh,
Regarding your last question. You can attempt CEED exam even though you got average sketching skills. Sketching is basically meant to communicate your idea. So, first of all you need to concentrate on Idea generation. Then Practice on BASIC pencil sketching and shading techniques. It should not take much time.

    1. I have already explained this question,
CEED cutoff varies every year, and I can't give you a clear and confirm picture or numbers related to cut offs. It mainly depends on the number of people attempted, number of students who achieved some average scores and so on. Based on these facts, they will set some limit I guess. Last year for part B, IITB chose 34 as selection marks. For the rest IIT's I'm not sure.

    1. Which interview do u mean ? ceed interview ? If that's the case then the answer is no. It has no affect or it cannot add credits during interview. Machine Design is way diff from these designs.

    1. Glad to hear about ur passion for design and happy that you are making future plans right from the 10th class. Good!
Also, Teach your friends to have future plans for their career right from now. They will be thankful to you.

You don't have to wait for mdes. MDes is after bachelors.
after 12th also you can give many exams as listed below

      1. UCEED
      2. NID-DAT
      3. NATA
      4. JEE Mains Paper 2
      5. NIFT

As of know, study upto 12th (regular intermediate will be fine - preferably with maths subject). And during your 12th standard, apart from the board exams prepare in parallel for the above exams (especially uceed and NID for design and NATA and mains 2 for Architecture course). Once you crack the exams you can enter into BDes. You can search about the full forms and details of the exams list that I mentioned above. In case, if you're not able to find them, let me know, I will share the links for you.

Also, if in case you miss bdes, you always have of doing some bachelors and after that giving mdes for design masters.
